The job:


To ensure UEFA EURO 2024 sets a world class benchmark in sports event delivery, the UEFA Information Communication Technology team is currently looking for a professional and experienced ICT Logistics & Workforce Implementation Specialist.


The
ICT Logistics & Workforce Implementation Specialist (M/F/d) will assist with enquiries and problems relating to Logistics and Workforce, which entails configuring digital platforms, diagnosing issues and identifying root causes, and then either solving them or passing them on to the relevant people.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities:

  • Ensuring constant communication with users (including passing details of any required changes on to the appropriate teams)
  • Customer support:
  • Ensuring that all incident logs and cases are handled and dispatched in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • Ensuring that business requests are rapidly answered or redirected to the right team
  • Working with thirdparty developers to resolve bugs in systems or to run root cause analysis
  • Testing:
  • Acting as a key point of contact for calls escalated by the service desk team for secondlevel support
  • Testing solutions when new features and capabilities are implemented
  • Assisting the ICT product owners and the ICT business relationship manager in collating requirements, development follow up and testing of new features and nonregression testing of existing features
  • Documentation and training:
  • Producing and maintaining trainingrelated documentation, including ad hoc training and configuration documentation
  • Helping to maintain uptodate mapping of business processes, in close collaboration with stakeholders

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or an equivalent qualification

Work experience:


  • Any relevant experience in a sports or football environment

Set of Skills:


  • Proficient German and English skills
  • Any other language an asset
  • Proficient experience with Office 365, including SharePoint and TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Any knowledge of a requirements gathering tool an asset (AzureDevOps etc.)
  • Advanced testing capabilities
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a highpressure environment
  • Efficiency and the ability to coordinate actions and anticipate issues, adopting a proactive approach to service provision
  • Excellent organisation and oral as well as written communication skills
  • Team spirit
