THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

As a Senior Buyer for the Private Label Men Footwear, you are leading a high performing and driven team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion whilst delivering strong results.

You will be handling brands such as Pier One, Zign and Yourturn.

You enjoy team leadership and people development, as you will oversee a team of two Buyers and two Assistant Buyers.

:

You'll work in collaboration with your Merchandising counterpart to set the strategic direction for your unit, developing this in line with the strategy of the Private Label business and Men Footwear Category
You'll have ownership and accountability of the unit's KPIs and make strategic and trading decisions to deliver success.
You'll lead strategic relationships with our suppliers and use your negotiation skills to deliver success for the unit and the company.
You'll have leadership of the buying team in your unit.
You love product and it's creation. You live and breath the customer and are able to delight them with new, commercial styles season after season.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

You have relevant Buying and Product Creation experience at a management level, within a fastpaced retail business, ideally a multibranded Ecommerce retailer
You have at least >6 years experience in the Footwear industry, you bring technical footwear knowledge and experience with far east production.
You are passionate about fashion and a market expert with a European view of the latest trends.
You consistently develop and maintain a cross business network to drive platform opportunities.
Your excellent analytical skills put you on top of the class and you love working with numbers to validate your gut instinct buying decisions and take risks.
You display strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, both with internal and external stakeholders.
You are a strong leader who will manage a team. You will be reporting into the Team Lead Buying. You love developing people, training and acting as a role model for the team.
