Passionate about IT? Like the thought of supporting a large business? Talented in Helpdesk Support? Then read on We are looking for a Helpdesk Support Technician to join our Berlin office on a permanent contract.

You will join Hologic and provide helpdesk support services to our employees, supporting managers where necessary and collaborating with business leaders.

You are the first point of contact for all employee queries working within our processes and procedures.

You will be looked upon to provide solutions to technology challenges as well as educate end users on utilizing available tools to perform their tasks more efficiently.


What to expect:


  • IT phone support (On rotating basis)
  • Computer imaging and troubleshooting
  • New employee IT inductions
  • Technical advice and guidance for Hologic employees
  • Hardware procurement, inventory, disposal support
  • VIP/Executive support
  • Assist with managing standard process/procedures
  • Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance
  • IT Helpdesk ticket response and closure
  • On call out of regular business hours. on a rota basis
  • Maintain knowledge on current and new systems through selfdevelopment
  • Have a flexible approach to work patterns

What we expect:


  • Fluent, both written and spoken in German and English.
  • Experience in IT Help Desk support role
  • Windows 10 experience and/or Windows 11 experience
  • Laptop and printer hardware knowledge required
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting client wifi issues
  • Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve PC/Network problems quickly and accurately
  • ServiceNow experience is desirable but not essential
