Duties:


DUTY 1:
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.


DUTY 3:

Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.


DUTY 4:
Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.

  • All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a twoyear DCIPS trial period.
  • Travel and relocation expenses WILL NOT BE PAID.

  • Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit
  • Position is designated Special-Sensitive, incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TS security clearance with access to SCI or TS SAP to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A nondisclosure agreement must be signed.
  • This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
  • May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.
  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the DODI volume 1230, DoD

Civilian Personnel Management System:
Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights (5-year rule).


Qualifications:


  • In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.

This is a GG-07 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-07 duties for the "Technician/Administrative Support" work category are at the "Entry/Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.


Examples of creditable experience include:

Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization; knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs; knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment; and knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues


Note:

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

  • 1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.

  • 3. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment.
  • 4. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
  • 5. Skill in factfinding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
  • 6. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines and ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
