Your tasks:

The GrawLab within the Department of Medicine 5 works on the modelling and analysis of immune processes in the context of inflammation, infection and cancer.

By combining various experimental and clinical data with mathematical models and data analytical methods, we aim at a mechanistic and quantitative understanding of the processes that regulate immune responses and determine disease outcome and therapy.

Essential experience/ qualifications:

Applicants should hold a MSc degree or PhD (for PostDoc) in computational biology, mathematics, (bio-)medical sciences, (bio-)physics, data science or other relevant disciplines
Strong quantitative and mathematical background is desired
High motivation and ability for interdisciplinary and collaborative work, working at the interface between the life sciences and analytical methods
Good programming skills in R, Python and/or C++
Proficiency in English

The position is part-time (65%)
The position is a fixed term position (1.5 years PostDoc) and available immediately
