What you will do
Communications play a central role in helping SAP's vision of the future become a reality. As one of the team's working students, you will have the chance to experience and actively help shape the communications strategy and execution - your ideas will have an impact in helping form the future of one the world's leading software companies


Your main responsibilities are:

  • Support our NVT communications team with planning and executing corporate communications, especially in the areas of internal communications, social media and PR
  • Write articles, blog posts, and newsletter entries about the unit's teams and projects for internal and external audiences
  • Set up and update internal SharePoint pages and operate newsletter tools such as Communications Hub
  • Create and adapt fact sheets and presentations about diverse innovation topics
  • Help publish and amplify multimedia content
  • Support content collection and curation for internal and external events
  • Monitor and report our communication and marketing activities to our stakeholders and community
  • From day one, you will have the opportunity to carry responsibilities as a member of our dynamic team in a fastpaced environment

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Fields of study: Media, Communications, Journalism, Languages, Social Sciences or a related field
  • Computer skills: advanced MS Office skills
  • Language skills: professional working proficiency in English; German is a plus
  • Soft skills: strong team working skills
  • Highly selfmotivated, proactive & ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing projects
  • Exceptional communicator and ability to inspire others to get things done
  • Prior experience in journalism, agency/corporate communication or marketing is a plus
  • Others: selfdriven, creative, reliable, openminded, wellorganized, active user of social media and multimedia channels, passionate about writing and creating compelling stories for innovation and technology topics

SAP's New Ventures & Technologies (NVT) business unit is the company's powerhouse for platform innovation, technology exploration, and collaboration with the start-up ecosystem.

By developing unconventional solutions, inspiring prototypes, and new products, we drive progress in the IT industry and bring the latest trends to SAP.


The NVT Communications & Marketing team takes on cross-functional tasks and is a close partner and consultant to the management team and the various development units.
