Job Title:
European Marketing Executive - focus Germany


Division:
Marketing and Communications


Reports To:
European Marketing Manager


Key Relationships:

External agencies and providers, brokers, clients, sponsorship partners, Beazley marketing team, broker relations, management team, underwriting and claims teams, compliance and internal communications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and coordinate the yearly marketing plan.
  • Coordinate providers, lead and execute actions to deliver the marketing plan.
  • Coordinate localisation of some of the communications or campaigns sent by the Global Marketing and Communications team.
  • Write and/or translate copy for digital, nondigital and social media channels.
  • Support the design, planning and delivery of events such as conferences, seminars, webinars, receptions and exhibitions and when needed, taking the local lead in terms of organisation and delivery of events on the ground.
  • Update website content and social media as directed.
  • Liaise with agencies and suppliers such as design, PR, digital and research agencies, printers and photographers.
  • Administer marketing monitoring and reporting information such as digital analytics, key press coverage, event attendance and broker and customer feedback. Ensure socialisation of campaign measurement and performance with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with all German stakeholders, including all lines of business. Also, other members of the Global Marketing and Communications team, Focus Groups, Broker Relations, Internal Communications, Culture and Engagement, to ensure successful delivery of campaigns. And look to find ways to work together, partnering to drive more coordinated, efficient and effective results for the teams in support of our corporate goals.
  • Support marketing actions in other countries when required.

Personal Specification:
Education and Qualifications

  • Likely to be educated to degree level and have commenced, or wish to commence, studying for a professional marketing qualification.
  • Proficiency level of English is a must.
  • Likely 6 to 10 years experience in marketing, preferably in insurance.
Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, in particular writing for German business collateral as well as for marketing purposes
  • Advanced in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficient in using a range of social media channels
  • Motivational skills, team worker as well as able to work on own initiative
  • The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
  • Excellent understanding of organisational processes
Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a related marketing/communication role.
  • Proven track record of team working, accuracy, timeliness and anticipating needs.
  • Prior writing and journalism or copywriting in an agency experience an advantage.
Aptitude and Disposition

  • Outcome focussed, selfmotivated, flexible and enthusiastic
