Your tasks


As our InstaFreight's dedicated HR Specialist-Tech (M/F/d) you'll be a key member of our People & Culture team, based in our Berlin office.

This position will be part time (30h possible). Your role will involve both Talent Acquisition and Business Partner tasks. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, and the HR Business Partner for the Tech Department.

Using data to guide your choices, you will take full ownership of the end to end recruitment of the most crucial roles here at InstaFreight and actively build InstaFreight's future by expanding our amazing team.

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, take ownership of on time filling of positions and challenging hiring managers in their decisionmaking processes, including end to end recruiting from the setting up contracts to ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Develop strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction
  • Create HR dashboards and reports using Google Data Studio
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled
  • Be the first point of contact for Tech & Product team help with a variety of needs, find solutions to different cases, set up team events and be the main Go To Person
  • Report to Head of People & Culture and provide decision support through HR & recruitment metrics
  • Facilitate contacts by creating and maintain a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
Your Profile

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Business Partner or in a similar role, in the Tech & Product field
  • You are comfortable managing multiple roles and being responsible for the entire end to end recruitment process
  • You are skilled in sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches and sourcing on different platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and Stackoverflow
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to listen and ask the right questions to get a full understanding of a person or situation
  • You understand the importance of data integrity and following internal processes using current Google systems and you maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS (experience with Personio is a plus)
  • You have strong time management, prioritization and selforganization skills
  • You are proactive, highly motivated and resultdriven
  • You are fluent in English (German is a plus)
