The
Lean Expert's job is to optimize the production or service process. As such he would need to go beyond departmental borders.

The tasks he needs to do start from defining the process and products, studying the current process, and designing production with lean management concepts, and down the line including implementation and operations:


What you'll do:


  • Create a state value stream map which includes all the value streams in the process
  • Study the current state map based on all available data
  • Create a longterm ideal state map including the product value streams as they would appear in the long term
  • Create an implementation plan to turn the current state map to the short term, midterm, and longterm state map
  • Optimise the state map with the use of lean techniques & create an implementation plan
  • Lead the Implement the implementation while mobilising stakeholders, including employees of the various departments, suppliers and customers
  • Provide leadership in the daytoday operations of the value stream
- point out possible waste, eliminate the identified waste sources, and create short and middle term state maps which improve the process value.

  • Help to Implement the LEAN culture in the organisation & train all stakeholders and related colleagues of LEAN principles and methods
  • Ensures that the stakeholders meet the current production demands, at the same time the changes are improvements are also met
  • Take part in NPI Project

Requirements:


You are a great match if you have:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Commercial and financial awareness
  • Ability to manage a variety of crossfunctional team members
  • A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred or HND, Btec
  • Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification
  • Experience and willingness for onsite shopfloor Kaizen improvement
  • Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environments
  • Background in people management and project management
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong German and English language skills
