The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden - Abbott GMBH location.

The Supervisor Distribution Quality Assurance will have these

Primary Functions

  • Supervision and coordination of all Distribution Quality Assurance (DQA) activities.
Major Responsibilities

  • Supervision and coordination of all DQA activities in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ensures operations are performed in accordance with applicable site and Division procedures.
  • Assess product quality issues and provides a compliant solution.
  • Works with the distribution department on defining logistic processes aligned with international regulation and ISO standards.
  • Assesses processes in DQA for optimization potential and introduces improvements.
  • Team leading, personnel management and development.
  • Beyond the general legal obligation to prevent accidents, Supervisor Distribution QA is assigned certain duties in respect to environmental protection and work safety which tie in directly with his/her position within the company. It is his/her task to support actively Abbott's environmental goals, to keep the sequence of operations free of risks, and to ensure employees under his/her supervision follow the rules for safe behavior at work.
Education

  • Master or Bachelor in science, engineering, business or related discipline,
- or adequate work experience in relevant industry such as MTA, BTA, CTA or equivalent qualification

Background

  • Two years experience in regulated industry or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • Good leadership, communication and organization skills
  • Practical experience and profound knowledge of logistics operations
  • Project experience in international environment
