Your tasks

Develop innovative proteomics methods: Adapt and improve biochemical protocols for Ctermini enrichment, contribute to develop alternative approaches
Profile Cterminal processing as a PTM in clinically relevant samples
Identify substrates of clinically relevant proteases and carboxypeptidases
Help to the operation and maintenance of stateoftheart nanoLCMS/MS systems
Proactively communicate and interact with project partners in the GRK260
Document, present and discuss your results at scientific conferences and as peerreviewed publications

Your profile:

Proven experience in biochemistry, ideally also in proteomics / mass spectrometry
Knowledge of R, python or similar scripting languages are advantageous
High proficiency in English (written and oral)
Motivation, selforganization and team player skills

The position is limited to three years with the possibility of an extension. The salary will be determined in accordance with E13 TV-L.
