Research Associate for the Project "Deep Nonlinear Multi-Microphone Speech Enhancement" - 28 Subsection 3 HmbHG

Responsibilities:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.

Specific Duties

The main research focus of the Signal Processing (SP) research group is on developing novel machine learning methods for speech signal processing.

Applications include speech communication devices such as teleconferencing, assistive listening devices and voice-controlled assistants.

In this project statistical signal processing methods will be combined with deep learning techniques to develop novel machine learning approaches to enhance noisy speech captured by multiple microphones.

Typical tasks of a research associate include writing scientific publications, and traveling to conferences and workshops to present the work.
