Research Associate for the Project "Deep Nonlinear Multi-Microphone Speech Enhancement" - 28 Subsection 3 HmbHG- InstitutionFaculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences, Department of Informatics
Start dateas soon as possible, fixed for a period of three years (This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG]).

Responsibilities:
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
Specific Duties
The main research focus of the Signal Processing (SP) research group is on developing novel machine learning methods for speech signal processing.
In this project statistical signal processing methods will be combined with deep learning techniques to develop novel machine learning approaches to enhance noisy speech captured by multiple microphones.
Typical tasks of a research associate include writing scientific publications, and traveling to conferences and workshops to present the work.
