TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Risk & Internal Control Advisor (all genders) at our locations Bayreuth or Lehrte / Hannover, who will contribute to this and that might be you?


Your contribution to TenneT:


  • As
-
Risk & Internal Control Advisor (all genders) you will be a passionate internal control system (ICS) advocate and go-to expert for all functions regarding ICS.

We need someone like you to support us in different aspects:

-
Develop and
strengthen the Risk & Internal Control function to support the organisation's compliance with governance and regulatory requirements and obligations

  • Further
    development and
    management of the
    ERM and
    ICS framework (guidelines, processes and procedures), this includes:

  • regular comprehensive
    analysis to guarantee the inclusion of controls and mitigation measures in all critical areas
-
regular review procedures to validate the controls' and mitigations' accuracy and effectiveness and recommend actions where necessary
-
implement process and
system improvements to increase efficiency, data quality and employee engagement as well as to reduce complexity and eliminate manual work
-
regular monitoring of the control execution status and reporting to key stakeholders
-
organisation and
implementation of control trainings, workshops and consulting

  • Spearhead the
    risk and
    internal control awareness within the organisation

Your profile and background:


  • This position requires an
    academic working and
    thinking level and a relevant
    university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related study areas. Alternatively you have a comparable qualification.
  • You have
    several years experience in
    Risk Management,
    Internal Control or
    Audit, preferably in the energy industry
  • You have strong
    MS Office skills and knowledge of
    SAP S4 HANA is a plus
  • You show high degree of
    independence,
    initiative, and the ability to work in a
    team. This is for you just as natural as
    strong communication skills and very good
    German and English skills, both spoken and written, Dutch language skills are beneficial
  • Your are willing to
    travel frequently

  • The ARC unit consists of the audit, risk, internal control and compliance & integrity teams. We proactively support the TenneT organization in continuously strengthening audit, risk and compliance identification and mitigation.
