The Head of Project Management & Construction Management CoE is fully responsible for all dimensions of Project and Construction Management practices and will act as the functional lead for all PM/CM staff across the Continental European Regions. The person in this role will ensure that EXYTE's standards, guidelines, processes, and best practices are fully and effectively implemented and used in all parts of the regions and that all PM/CM staff have the capability, training, and behaviours to effectively execute all project delivery tasks needed.

The Head of Project Management & Construction Management CoE will channel all communications in the regions and ensure an effective collaboration locally and globally.

All Project managers and Construction Managers on sites will functionally report to the Head of Project Management & Construction Management CoE and he/she will also be an integrated leader in both the regional management team.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities:

As Department Manager, take ownership for ensuring the PM/CM regional resources are managed and assigned efficiently to meet project delivery needs, while recruiting best in class talent from the market to increase Exyte's delivery capabilities.
Facilitate roll out of process of all Exyte's project execution and delivery processes in Continental Europe (CoE), standards, policies and best practices from global team sites and represent the regional needs in development of these global control elements.
Oversee execution governance of small and midsized projects executed across sites.
Act as the PM/CM business partner to the Regional MD and represent PM/CM in the regional management structure.
As Department Manager, act as a single point of contact for the PM/CM organizations at the sites in the CoE region and drive effective communications between all parts of the organization.
Represent the whole region in the Global management structure balancing regional needs with global efforts to ensure an effective global collaboration.
Assist the CAPEX planning function in PM/CM to ensure effective prioritization of projects within CoE region understanding the bigger Exyte picture and ensuring that the global business needs are given full attention in regional prioritization but also that the regional prioritization gets appropriate balancing with other company needs.
Facilitate and escalating PM/CM issues, identify needs for technical and/or project management support ensuring have the right resources at the right time working with the right issues.

Show your expertise:

Minimum of 10 to 15 years of industrial experience in a combination of roles engineering and construction, preferably in the EPC environment.
Track record of successful project delivery within a large organization.
Experience in working in a large, complex matrix environment with global processes and governance structures
Strong communication skills and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
High level project management skills covering option development and evaluation, definition, design, procurement, construction and handover
Organizationally astute with the ability to align the project organizations to the medium to longterm business expectations of the site as these changes and develop
A personality who takes ownership of the business, the region, team and leads them to top performance and results, outpacing competition
With a strong entrepreneurial and proactive drive, someone who pursues their goals with utmost energy and strength
