  • As a valued member of our international Sports Medicine R&D team you support the advancement of imagebased enabling technology.
  • You perform independent research in which you work with threedimensional models and image data and evaluate ideas for our future pipeline.
  • Leveraging your expertise in image segmentation, you assess how different imaging modalities impact the accuracy and reliability of morphological analyses.
  • You improve your Matlab scripting skills by implementing and evaluating novel analysis processes related to assessing pathological joint morphology.
  • You will gain deep clinical insights and have the opportunity to observe surgeon interaction.
  • Contributing to scientific publications will allow you to enhance your scientific writing skills.

This is what sets you apart:

  • Academic Pursuit: You are currently pursuing a biomedical engineering or a related engineering degree and are actively seeking a master's thesis project for a 6-month duration.
  • Technical Drive: Your passion lies in expanding your technical expertise, particularly in areas such as 3D image analysis, segmentation, scripting/programming, and data/statistical analysis.
  • Clinical Insight: Ideally, you possess a solid grasp of clinical concepts and have prior research experience, enabling you to work independently.
  • Effective Communication: Your strong spoken and written English skills empower you to confidently engage in our international environment and successfully complete your master's thesis in scientific English.
