Aufgabe

  • Purpose: Developing the overall MDR business for products falling under Article 117 (Notified Body opinions for Drug Device combinations) and Annex XVI (products without an intended medical purpose)
  • Strategy: Short and Midterm business development activities, focus on business execution and customer and resource development globally
  • Reporting: Status of business plan (plan vs. actual) to Global Strategic Business Development, to the MHS Board, and across the other Focus Topics
  • People Focus: Responsible for planning and supporting global hires. Passionate about talent growth and enabling development. Improve collaboration, integration, team spirit and interregional interfaces
  • Customer centric: Definition of target customers and definition of a business development strategies for the business initiative
  • Innovation: Identification of key technologies for future growth
  • Quality: Facilitate global workload distribution and service quality
  • Initiate marketing initiatives and representing TÜV SÜD at conferences and working groups

Qualifikation

  • Knowledge
  • Medical device regulatory framework (MDR), focus on drug device combinations, high risk devices (Class III), or implants.
  • General knowledge about economics and business development
  • People management skills
  • Experience
  • Experience
with Medical Devices in one of the following areas:

  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Performing global product approvals


  • Quality Management

  • Defining procedures for developing, verification, validation of medical devices


  • Marketing

  • Leading global marketing campaigns for medical devices
  • Experience
of successful operating of a team in matrix structures

  • Skills
  • Effective business analysis skills with the ability to develop and adapt visual presentations to meet the target audience.
  • Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, understanding the different perspectives and adapting communication style to have positive impacts.
  • Selfdriven and curious mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in an international organization, being respectful of diverse backgrounds
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
