Position overview:

Responsibilities:

Developing new project ideas together with other functions like Business Development and Marketing.
Responsibility to initiate, execute and lead complex product development projects.
Provide technical customer support for key global and regional accounts for tire and rubber additives.
Ensuring a safe working environment and effective safety training for personnel in the respective area of responsibility.
Build and foster open innovation with cooperation partners.
Ensure effective and efficient execution of projects in the area of responsibility with project management and reporting.
Support product transfers to production, product and process safety activities and documentation of new and existing products.
Responsible for supporting the business in IP activities, create new IP and screen thirdparty IP.

Required skills and experience:

D. in Polymer Science, Material Science, or Rubber Science.

5+ years in the tire/rubber industry (tire manufacturer or supplier) in a technology function or in an industryrelevant research institute.
Very strong interpersonal and project management skills, previous people management experience.
Technical and market knowledge to prioritize R&D projects concerning new or improved products according to global market, regulatory, or business needs.
Experience with allocation and management of resources for technology projects.
