Raw Material Planner has a responsibility of the raw material planning activities in Keila related to our productions areas

Raw Material Planner is co-operating mainly with Supply chain, procurement & operations.


His/her way of working is pro-active and he/she also monitors daily basis that the responsible area is clean, safe and in good order.

Decision making process should always include also sustainability aspect and consideration.


Planning specific responsibilities / tasks:

  • Forecast creation and analyzing.
  • Middle and shortterm planning of raw material.
  • Doing call offs from suppliers & monitoring these.
  • Prioritization of orders in cooperation with scheduling
  • Planning and execution of needed BM/RM/SFG/ purchases from other Prysmian factories.
  • Follow up production.
  • Planning stocks for responsibility area (base metals, raw materials, semifinished goods)
  • Planning raw materials needs and creating purchase requisition in cooperation with planner and scheduling.
  • Managing stocks to secure product availability and excellent service level towards operation
  • Intercompany business: Selling and purchasing activities covering selected separately agreed areas.
  • Keeping master data updated in the systems.
  • Communication with stakeholders like scheduling, operations, quality control, supply chain.
  • Knowledge, skills and education needed for the Job
  • Applicable education (technical education is preferable)
  • Good leadership, cooperation and interactions skills
  • Problem solving and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills to make right conclusions
  • Independent and accountable approach
  • Willingness to take an extra mile when needed
  • Good Estonian and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • SAP knowledge or capability to learn
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Good ability to adapt new IT tools
