Responsibilities:

***- This position will be the Clinical Study Scientist and Coordinator for multiple tuberculosis (TB) related and other infectious disease-related clinical, epidemiological, and translational, science studies. The person in this position will develop trial protocols, coordinate and be accountable for the overall operational management, oversight, and implementation of several concurrent studies, requiring knowledge and skills in clinical study conduct. Studies are domestically and internationally based and will require to work collaboratively with international colleagues and multiple partners, to plan, coordinate, and implement multiple trials. The position will work across time zones and entails international travel for initial study implementation and site monitoring visits.


Knowledge and Skill requirements:

***- Master's degree in related area.

  • Advanced knowledge of clinical trials and related protocols with at least 2 years of clinical trial experience in a scientific project management role with demonstrated skills
  • Scientific project management skills to oversee the operational management, coordination, incl. with international partners
  • Ability to work well independently, complete projects in a timely manner, prioritize projects, analyze routine and nonroutine issues
  • Strong experience using database software and management/ organizational platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Required travel up to 20% for international site visits.
  • Preferred: experience working in international research setting; knowledge of global tuberculosis work
