Business Controller Sales Area Central Europe (M/F/d):

As
Business Controller Sales Area Central Europe you proactively support our Sales Area Central Europe and Service Activities in Germany.

Reporting directly to the Sales Area Business Control Manager, you will drive all business control duties that contribute to reaching the overall operational and financial goals.

Through fulfilling all the main responsibilities, this role will support the execution of key activities and ensuring performance according to expectations.

Preferred location is Düsseldorf.


Your tasks:


  • Playing a pivotal role in advising the business on financial operations by reviewing data and financial planning in line with the business plans.
  • Your strong business mindset helps you to actively collaborate with e.g. (General) Managers and Controller of our Sales Area to improve and challenge our performance.
  • You have responsibility for the financial planning and performance follow up of our Service Functions.
  • You use Power BI, SAP and other tools to draw conclusions and support the performance management of the Sales Area and Functions.
  • You will provide commentary on performance, examine data and present findings on all levels
  • You are business partner and networker for all stakeholders, while contributing your advice to the general manager
  • You monitor the business performance and provide factbased information on occurring issues.

What you need for this job:

  • Your skills are proofed by a degree in Finance and/or Business Administration and experience in a business, commercial or finance controlling position.
  • You possess strong knowledge and skills in finance, pricing and profit management
  • Your business sense is welldeveloped
  • You demonstrate high level presentation skills, strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • You set priorities and manage your time excellent, to meet tight deadlines independently
  • As outstanding team player, you can communicate on all levels, fluent in German and English
  • You are eager to take ownership and challenge everything we do in a manner that will help unlock our potential.
