Local Unit & Position Description:


DNV Tax Department CE is in charge of full tax compliance service and responsibility for German and Austrian DNV companies.

In a corporation with a DNV tax network, responsibility means we well filing transfer pricing documentation and take part in national and international tax audits.

As part of the annual closing process responsibility stays in filing tax-based data like tax provisions/ receivables and differed tax positions.


Your key responsibilities will be:

- **CIT/VAT compliance in PTS*
  • Service contracts to be closed with DNV customers need to analyse for national and international fiscal consequences on described transactions and in the fields of CIT with means risks of creating a permanent establishment and withholding taxes.

In addition, the VAT outcome must be reviewed and should take place in form of a proposal for a contractual tax clause.

Advise Business Areas in optimization for fiscal outcome by keeping global compliance regulations in place.

  • Provide tax advice in practice for optimization in contractual relationship.
  • Monitor and analyse CIT/TT relevant accounts (IFRS and Local GAAP).
  • Support tax audits initiated by tax authorities.
  • In addition, support Tax team in other compliance fields like transfer pricing documentation, filing tax returns and in collaboration with internal functions and external advisor.
  • Optional support tax planning/strategies and optimize tax relevant processes and procedures. Further personal development in skills and corresponding takeover of additional tasks will be supported.

Position Qualifications:

  • Certified Management Accountant, assistant tax accountant, or a comparable background/development
  • Experience in a tax department of an international company with a focus on CIT would be preferable (Indirect Tax experience will be an advantage)
  • Experience with IFRS-TaxReporting (incl. deferred taxes)
  • Experience with proposal reviews will be advantageous
  • Professional proficiency in English (German language will be an advantage)
  • Resultoriented, good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
