We are seeking a highly motivated and talented working student to join our Aircraft Design department.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on critical aspects of our scaled eVTOL prototype development, focusing on design and prototyping topics.

This position is ideal for a master's level student looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform CAD-Design tasks for the scaled prototype especially for the internal structure design
  • Accelerate the prototyping process by 3Dprinting different parts for the models
  • Assist in assembling and testing of the scaled prototype
  • Collaborate with the aerodynamics and conceptual design team to support the design and analysis of our eVTOL aircraft

YOUR PROFILE
you should

  • Be currently enrolled in a master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Have experience with CAD-Design Software (preferred: Siemens NX)
  • Bring first hands on experience with developing a model aircraft (CAD Design, carbon/glass fiber aircraft structures)
  • Have a strong academic background in Aircraft Design, Mechanical Design and Material Science or Additive Manufacturing
  • Dispose of first hands on experience with FDM 3DPrinting
  • Bring enthusiasm for eVTOL technology and the future of urban air mobility
  • Have strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Have effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Have time alongside your studies to work 1620h per week
