We are seeking our new
_Head of Marketing Professional Care

Europe_ (M/F /d) to join our team.

The Head of Marketing Professional Care Europe has the ownership of the assigned product portfolio and is responsible to define the European marketing and communication strategy for her/his area of responsibility and to deploy winning campaigns to the markets to ensure in-market success.

Responsibilities:

Being responsible for the product portfolio of NICU & Maternity (pumps, consumables, breast milk management accessories, oral feeding) and Surgical & Wound care (cardiothoracic drainage solutions, surgical suction systems)
Partner with the global marketing to team to maximize marketing output for all projects relevant for EU markets
Collect and address the needs of the EU markets towards Global team for ideation/new product development
Understand our consumer and customer journey and leverage insights to adapt gotomarket model and communication priorities: turn market, competition, customer needs analyses into new business opportunities, create alertness to changes in the marketplace and fuel insightbased actions both on local level and on Global/EU level to develop into meaningful product and commercial innovation
Translate our global pricing strategy into pricing map for the European markets
Orchestra product marketing activities for launches, phasein/out and streamlining
Review, consult and sign off profitable business cases for your assigned product portfolio
Develop the annual business plan for the categories and manage the annual expenditures for the assigned product portfolio
Actively engage with Cluster Heads, Country leads and local marketing managers to align on priorities to best serve the customers and to ensure excellence of execution of agreed initiative plan
Collaborate with Science and Medical Affairs team to ensure alignment on key messages and development of high quality content
Implement the EU Midwives & Mother contact center in 2023, and create roadmap for further service extension
Be a key contributor and change agent as member of the EU Marketing Leadership Team
Develop our talents, lead and coach the team members according to the Medela HR processes

Your qualifications

You are an advanced B2B marketing expert with at least 1015 years of experience of marketing and brand management
You have professional roots in the medical device industry
You have gained experience in owning several product categories and in driving marketing and commercial strategy
You own solid communication planning expertise for different target audiences (doctors/surgeons, nurses, midwives/lactation consultants)
Bringing experience and proven track record in managing regional teams remotely
You own thorough understanding of P&L and its drivers, experience in marketing budget allocation and control
You feel comfortable with digital marketing though it is managed by the EU digital team centrally
