The Legal Team reports directly to our Chief Legal Officer, who is part of the Group Executive Team. It consists of legal advisors and legal support in Berlin and Boston. We also work with a large global network of external law firms. This position is based in our office in Berlin.

What You'll Do:

As inhouse counsel, you provide comprehensive legal advice and deal with legal issues relating to the companies of the Native Instruments group.
You draft, review and negotiate complex contracts in German and English with our partners and various service providers.
You specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
You research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
You communicate and negotiate with management, colleagues and external parties creating relations of trust.
You are used to and like to work with digital processes and legal tech tools.

What You'll Need:

You are a fully qualified German lawyer or have an equivalent qualification.
You have significant professional experience working as legal counsel in a company, a law firm or comparable setting.
You can familiarize yourself with complex issues, process them legally, and present them clearly in contracts or legal classifications.
You are experienced in the areas of contract law, intellectual property, data protection, and competition law, as well as copyright and media law.
Your German and English language skills are fluent.
