To accomplish this, we are redefining how software is developed within the automotive field as part of an international Mercedes-Benz software development network.

As a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, we develop and integrate the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems that are based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS).

In addition, we are responsible for the Mercedes me companion app, we provide seamless & connected mobility experiences and we contribute to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform development.

With offices in Berlin and Sofia, we are aiming to bring new generation of innovative infotainment systems across the globe.

**Your Mission
The Function Owner (FO) oversees the vehicle system functionality applicable to multiple system generations and multiple vehicle programs. This responsibility is typically assigned to a functional domain, such as Audio, and
includes the management of e. g. OEM-specific requirements, ECU-external interfaces to other car parts or vehicle systems, dependencies between vehicle programs. The Function Owner will support the development and
implementation of specific functions within a vehicle. This includes the design, development, testing and integration of these functions into the overall vehicle system.

Design, develop and test audio functions within a vehicle, for MBUX systemDefinition, creation, coordination and evaluation of system and customer requirements for audioDefines KPIs and performance per function in alignment with system requirementsProvide technical leadership for discussions and plannings with project/program managementCooperates with Systems/SW Architects, Software Development and Test engineers to ensure consistency relating to assigned functionCollaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure seamless integration of audio functions into the overall vehicle systemContribute in the definition of the interfaces of the customer function to the e.g.

Overall Vehicle system, Communication, Hardware Design, Diagnostics, Configuration & codingCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customersProvides the technical lead for a function review first test strategy, test list and test setupProvide technical lead to support customer meetings and test drivesEnsure that all functions meet industry standards and regulationsSupports problem resolution and change managementCoordination and assessment of risks (risk management)Stay current with advancements in technology and incorporate themSupports problem resolution and change managementCoordination and assessment of risks (risk management)Stay current with advancements in technology and incorporate them into the development process
Qualifikationen:

**Your Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Eng.

Electrical or Computer Engineering, or arelated fieldExperience in the automotive industry, specifically in the development of audio and sound functionsStrong knowledge of audio management, DSP, A2B bus, sound functions, vehicle systems, network and components(Profound) knowledge of automotive engineering processes and standards (ISO26262, ASPICE,)Good programming knowledge of C/C++ and PythonExperience with development tools such as MATLAB and SimulinkSolid experience in the Area of Testing and System RequirementsStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong leadership skills
