For permanent employment the Propulsion department at Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a

Senior Propulsion Test Technician (f/m/d) - Sweden/Kiruna

Your Tasks

Integration, troubleshooting and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Assembly of complex rocket engine parts: combustion chambers, turbopumps, valves, electrical harness etc. and test stand plant equipment
Execution of tests
Maintenance of systems and procurement of spare parts and consumables
Align resources to accomplish key objectives, assign clear accountability for important objectives
Create and maintain technical documentation
Mentor colleagues and contribute to the Propulsion Test Group's knowledge base

Your Qualificatons

Completed trade in relevant engineering sector, e.g. as machinist, fitter, electrician, welder
5+ years work experience in testing of liquid rocket engines
Selfindependent, structured way of working and committed to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to solve problems
Excellent knowledge of liquid rocket engines
Experience with Siemens NX, MS Office
Experience with sensors: pressure, temperature, piezoelectric, strain gauge, load cells, flowmeters
Handson workshop experience: tube fitting, welding (TIG, MMA, MIG, orbital), dye penetrant testing, manual/CNC lathe/mill/grinding, general heavy construction
Handson electrical experience: 1ph/3ph power, low voltage sensor wiring, network wiring (fiber & ethernet)
Fluent English oral and written (all daytoday activities are performed in English)
