Purpose of the Job:

Key Accountabilities:


  • Assist in the monitoring of legal and regulatory changes in the AML field and identify key issues with regard to AML regulation throughout the Bank.
  • Take part in drafting regulatory alerts to senior management and other staff linked to AML topics.
  • Assist in the setup and review of AML standards, guidelines, high risk criteria, detection mechanisms, tools framework and parameterization to control the AML risks.
  • Providing advice to first line of defence and further functions in regarding FCC topics.
  • Daily analysis of transactions through the dedicated AML compliance monitoring tools : monitoring of abnormal behaviours screening of the clients, and filtering of the payments.
  • Support MLRO in the client onboarding process : analysis of documentation and available open source (google check).
  • Active participation to periodic review of clients (monitoring and analysis of the review performed by first line of defence).
  • Participate to controls in the context of the compliance monitoring plan.
  • Ad hoc investigations in case a suspicious behaviour is detected (through the different controls, following demand from the FIU).
  • Parametrisation of the AML tools, proposals for improvements, testing of the changes, support the affiliate in the definition of new parameters and implementation.

Knowledge and Experience:


  • University degree, highly preferably in Law/Economics
  • For junior profiles first experience in advisory of AML/FCC topics
  • For Senior profiles 3+ years of relevant AML/FCC experience
  • General knowledge of the banking activities products and processes and general knowledge of the financial markets
  • Knowledge of banking regulation, specifically on AML.
  • Understanding of risks in a global context
  • Ability to act in an international Group with varying regulations and cultures
