Your tasks
- Expenditureincome control and ongoing project financial planning in collaboration with the project subteam.
- Management and monitoring of the finances of publicly and privately funded humanitarian and development aid projects
This includes:
- Preparation and review of project budgets, financial statements, and funding requirements
- Preparation of budgets as well as financial interim and final reports for current and new projects
- Ensuring compliance with donor guidelines (AA, BMZ, EU, UN organisations, private donors)
- Support country offices and project partners in the financial management of projects and compliance with the donor guidelines
- Preparation and support of audits as well as support in contract management
Profile:
- Completed training or comparable qualification (Bachelor) with a focus on finance or controlling
- Experience in project accounting or use of project funds from public clients is an advantage
- Knowledge of ITbased project management systems (e.
- Affinity for numbers and very good KNOWLEDGE of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Very good English, and Good Spanish & German language skills
- Experience abroad is an advantage
