Here's how you will make an impact:

The Regional Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and service delivery for the talent acquisition function to support recruitment and meet GEA's current and future talent needs.

This role reports directly to the Global HR Administration & Talent Acquisition Lead and is a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team.

Based in one of our local German offices, you will lead a team of 7 Talent Acquisition Specialist roles for the DACH and EMEA regions.

You will partner with our senior level hiring managers across regions and our local human resource business partners or recruiters to gain deep understanding of the business priorities, translate into a talent acquisition strategy and also ensure qualitative delivery of services.

Management Tasks

  • Regionally lead the Talent Acquisition team within HR, allocate respective resources, ensure that all services are fully covered all time and monitor performance targets
  • Leading of 7 Talent Acquisition specialists serving for the DACH and EMEA region
  • Establish a degree of standardization, harmonization and best practice sharing within the team by supporting in process improvement projects and various CoE initiatives to improve services and delivery
  • Change management drive for the transition phase of the recruitment restructuring project
  • Develop and champion the talent acquisition strategy by partnering with the business leaders and managing relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage global recruitment by creating and overseeing talent acquisition programs, activities, operational processes, and annual budget
  • Functional responsibility of 2 extra members within the Talent Acquisition team in Bogota and other 3 in Kuala Lumpur in order to ensure: global process standards, support in local process issues and driving local improvements by pertaining to the global ones
  • Coach, develop, and retain a remote team by ensuring all parties involved in the recruiting and selection process have clear goals and accountabilities.
  • Closely collaborate with our Recruitment Lead and CoE counterpart on a global scale for ongoing process and delivery improvements or initiatives
Professional Tasks

  • Translate the business strategy into Talent Acquisition mission and outcomes.
  • Actively seek input, understand business needs and translate into a customerfocused Talent Aquisition strategy
  • Continuously review and adjust approach to finding best talent in the market.
  • Actively track SLA's and KPI's for the recruitment process and run global reports.
  • Partner with local Recruiters, HR Business Partners and CoE on:
  • supporting Hiring Managers with trainings and guidelines on best-in-class recruiting
  • Coordinate legal compliance by monitoring applicable human resource federal and state requirements
  • Manage a variety of vendors in support of the best possible recruiting tools and processes

Your profile and qualifications:

Professional Knowledge and Experiences

  • Bachelor or Master ́s degree in Business Administration, HR or Engineering, from a 4year college or university or equivalent professional experience
  • Talent acquisition experience in an HR environment (> 5 years), in a full lifecycle recruitment role
  • Experience in providing volume end to end recruitment service with high quality customer service, ideally in a technological or industrial environment.
  • Fully competent in specific HR concepts with emphasis on staffing processes, internal HR policies, interviewing techniques, skills and abilities.
  • Experience in leading a Talent Acquisition Teams for international locations.
  • Workday knowledge or other TA, HRIS or ATS systems
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
