Do you want to take on a leadership role where you are responsible for the continued enhancement of CDD quality of the bank and by doing so support the 28 DLL countries in the execution of their KYC processes.

As the Senior AML Quality Assurance Specialist your mandate and that of your team is to create and maintain the global quality assurance framework and develop and maintain all elements necessary to monitor and improve the quality of the DLL's adherence to the KYC/CDD requirements.


Day to day:


  • As a senior QA specialist, you will lead the QA team who are responsible for driving CDD quality and feedback for the DLL country network.
  • Driving a strong risk culture and risk and compliance management practices across the organization.
  • Developing and fostering a robust Quality Assurance framework, focusing on overall improvements in quality.
  • Providing oversight of the QA performed by the team to ensure it is in line with methodologies and meets all compliance and legal requirements.
  • Coaching the team to provide advice to First Line, performing quality assurance over the e2e processes and monitoring risks and controls assessments
  • Monitor and analyze QA results for short cycle improvements
  • Acts as Global CAMS & Audit liaison
  • Coordinate the Global QA coordinators in the countries.
  • Gather and deliver input for training, procedures, and tooling in order to further improve
  • Leading operational and compliance risk 'deep dives' on individual departments to test controls and coordinate remediation of control improvements.
  • Providing insightful data and informative analysis to support the identification and reporting of the key and emerging risks impacting the Group and guidance on breach and incident reporting process.
  • Developing SLAs/OLAs and measuring service against KPIs.

Essentials:


  • You live and are permitted to work in the EU.
  • 5 years' experience in the financial services industry with a focus on first line monitoring, controls, operational risk, compliance and process engineering.
  • Previous QA and/or Advisory leadership roles.
  • Significant experience in managing and evaluating risk: risk profiling, risk registers maintenance, KRIs, risk appetite reporting, risk and controls assessments / assurance etc.
  • Ability to develop governance frameworks, practices and processes
  • Previous Experience in KYC and legislative requirements and implementing AML and CTF requirements and processes.
  • Experience in developing and working within a Continuous Improvement framework.
  • Industry accreditation such as ACAMS or ICA being an advantage.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into commercial practice and controls.
  • Ability to "think outside the box" and act at the granular and strategic level.
