How to contribute to our vision

You are a member of DEU region management team and work closely with Sales and Project Management teams to deliver order entry and execute projects in line with the ambitious growth targets for our business in the region, and you will be responsible for mapping the strategy in order to achieve our goals from a procurement perspective.
In order to deliver on this strategy, you will act as main liaison between the DEU organization, and the Procurement organization, leading a team and developing your team members.
You ensure optimal project execution activities to be contracted to external suppliers in full coordination with Project management needs with the aim to ensure profitability and targets achievement according to Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy guidelines, process and procedures
You successfully lead your team ensuring development of your employees
You manage the Project Procurement purchasing volume for region Deutschland across multiple categories and services (e.g. BoP, Crane and Installation, Transportation etc.)
You ensure cross functional collaboration, driving costout and supply chain risk reduction initiatives
You ensure structured reporting and controlling for your area of responsibility
You contribute to contractors footprint rationalization, local content mandates, supplier localization efforts to benefit Project execution at lower cost, high quality and according to execution schedules
You ensure competencies and processes' standardization and harmonization
You ensure P2P compliance in area of responsibility

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for

You have received a university degree ideally in Engineering. Other fields such as Business Administration, Economics or Engineering are also welcome
You have significant work experience in the area of Procurement, preferably within Project Procurement, combined with good analytical skills.
Alternatively, you worked in Sales or Project management for an energy or construction company
You have good knowledge around contract law and possess strong negotiating skills, especially in international business relationships
You have good technical and commercial skills
You have got a service mindset, are capable to build bridges to your internal clients (Project Management and Sales organizations)
You have successfully managed teams for some years, and you are equipped with strong leadership skills
You are able to communicate fluently in English and German at all levels of the organization.
