The role:


In this exciting role you will work directly with our VP People Operations on taking our People function to the next level.

As HelloFresh enters the next era of growth this is a great opportunity to help drive an ambitious 2023+ strategy that builds on the advanced strategic professionalisation of our HR function.

As Senior Director People Shared Services you will be spearheading the creation of a new People Shared Services function together with your team leads and a great team of HR professionals to ensure an exceptional employee experience.

You will act as a services champion and support our global and local teams on all their HR & payroll administrative requests helping them to thrive and do their best work.

What you'll do:


For People Admin & Payroll (50%)

  • Bring HelloFresh to the next level in terms of People services & payroll, build on our strong foundation to establish state of the art standards, processes and tools and optimising data usage for enhanced organisation and people decisions
  • Manage, evaluate and train our highlyskilled people services team and support them as their role model to achieve excellence every day
  • Develop a highly impactful People Services strategy together with our VP People Operations and ensure a wellstructured and strong execution to best service the different needs of all areas of the business
  • Create a smooth and engaging experience for all employees along our key administrative People processes (e.g., with regards to staff contracts, work permits, payroll, benefits, absences, filing, etc)
  • Constantly optimise our processes and procedures to ensure the highest levels of Customer Service within the team are achieved at all times pathing the way to an advanced people services offering internationally
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with all global HR team members and important stakeholders in Finance, IT, Legal & HelloConnect alike
  • Stay at the pulse of time exchanging with external sources, i.e. peer organisations to acknowledge any trends and best practices in people services and markets which could impact upon the business
  • Act as a SME / ambassador for HQ as we drive harmonisation with international HelloFresh entities and work to integrate / share best practices across teams to ensure a consistent international process and successful People Services launch of new geographies

For Shared Services Setup (50%)

  • Bring your expertise to share our vision for HR Shared Services, influencing senior business & HR leaders about the case for change
  • Establish and own a compelling story around the business benefits of HR Shared Services, partnering with local market to prioritise the move of high impact processes and user experiences
  • Set a plan for the establishment of HR Shared Service which covers staffing build up, knowledge management, process and experience redesign, change/comms/training
  • Partner with other leaders in corporate to contribute to a shared vision of what good look like for the HelloConnect shared service offering globally

What you'll bring:


  • You have 5+ years' experience in establishing/leading a People Shared Services function for highchange, highgrowth companies
  • Significant experience as an HR Operations professional in the area of People Administration and/or Payroll, who has led a highperforming team
  • Proven track record of building, leading and developing a customerfocused and high performing People Shared Service functions
  • You are clearly a strategic thinker and come with strong business sense and analytical skills that manifest in exceptional datadriven decisionmaking capabilities
  • Proven track record of delivering largescale, strategic and highly impactful People Share Services solutions in a constantly changing environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative work style with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders in an international environment
  • You have successfully managed complex organisational change projects
  • You are a multifaceted problem solver. You can look at a problem from 30,000 ft, but also are able to understand the detailed challenges of those on the ground.
  • You are passionate about creating great experiences for our people and possess the ability to be both handson and strategic
  • You are an exceptional, influential and motivating leader. Fluent in English both written and verbally.
