The interdisciplinary and multicultural team of MPC is looking for a highly motivated

Postdoc - Metabolomics Data Analysis (f/m/x

Full time, close to full time, Part time (19,- 39 hrs./week)

Responsibilities:

Development of data processing and annotation workflows for LC-MS/MSbased nontargeted metabolomics data
Training of young researchers in metabolite data analysis
Metabolomics data analysis from different projects, i.e. from partners as well as generated within the MPC
Metabolite annotation and identification
Biochemical interpretation of results

Your qualifications

PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or bioinformatics
Experience in LC-MS/MSbased nontargeted metabolomics
Experience in metabolomics data analysis, metabolic pathways and metabolomics data interpretation
Experience on R or other programs applicable for library development and metabolic data curation
Knowledge and preferably handson experience on MS and LC-MS (fragmentation, possible adduct formation, retention time, etc.)
Strong team spirit and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team
