As a Senior Portfolio Strategy Manager you will be responsible for defining the portfolio strategy for the Business Area Transformation of Industry.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Provide thought leadership in the development and implementation of the TI Portfolio Strategy
  • Proactively identify portfolio management opportunities (M&A, divestment e.a.) that portfolio management needs, factoring in current market conditions, trends and risks
  • Designing a "picture of the future" for the business area "Transformation of Industry" in the environment of the energy transition / decarbonization of the industrial sector
  • TI's future operating landscape
  • Shaping the business area 'Transformation of Industry' by systematically assessing the attractiveness of the TI portfolio against the market and competition
  • Presenting the futureoriented portfolio strategy to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluating roadmaps of the units within 'Transformation of Industry' to continuously grow profitable, be future proof and increase enterprise value

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in economics or MBA, and / or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Several years in a top management consultancy firm or investment banking
  • 5+ years' work experience in strategy departments with a focus on portfolio strategy & innovation and 5+ years' work experience in M&A Strategy field with the aim of achieving increased profitable growth
  • Profound knowledge and understanding of the industrial market, its mechanics, and future developments especially in the perspective of the energy transition and sustainability requirements
  • Outstanding experience in interacting with and leading international teams in complex interdisciplinary projects along with high intercultural sensitivity and advanced networking skills
  • Selfdriven and ability to independently lead complex crossorganizational projects as well as entrepreneurial spirit and "can do" and "deliver" attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as proficiency in constructing and delivering presentations with multilayered content
  • Effective communications skills to position ideas and deliver key messages to all management levels in the company as well as with external stakeholders combined with excellent English language skills. Additional other languages are an added benefit
