ABOUT THE POSITION:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

You embrace the
highest design quality and experiences for all CNC24 products
You turn complex design challenges into
simple but
memorable user experiences:
You gather and
evaluate user and business requirements in
collaboration with product managers and engineers to derive clear product and service requirements from them.
You know and use all
methods of the usercentered approach for the development of digital products: storyboards, scenarios, user flows, workshops, experience mapping, and use cases.
You build
interactive prototypes and mockups to explore new features and evaluate them with the target audience
You take over the
responsibility of our design system as well as maintain and expand it further
Your task is to
develop our
platform together with product management continuously
You will
work closely with developers on an equal footing to ensure the best user experience as well as meet deadlines
Ideally, you are able to conduct
user research to evaluate design decisions or to gather user requirements

PROFILE:

Proven work experience (
5+ years) as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects and can present them properly
Uptodate knowledge of
design software and tools especially
Figma:
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good
timemanagement skills
Familiarity with
design systems:
Experience working in
agile frameworks such as
Scrum and
Kanban:
Enthusiasm for learning about digital design best practices, new interaction models, design standards, and emerging technologies.

Technical understanding of
web technologies and programming languages (HTML, CSS)

BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Fluent in English (Spanish or German is an advantage)

Plus would be:

Experience in user research and user testing
Experience in coding
Experience in the mechanical engineering industry
