In the department of computer science at the Technische Universität Darmstadt there are two positions available in the research group 'Security in Information Technology' (Prof. Dr. Waidner) as


Research Assistants (all genders) in the field of cybersecurity:
The contract is initially limited to 3 years. The position is classified according to pay group 13 of the TU Darmstadt collective agreement (TV-TU Darmstadt).


Your profile:


  • A very good University degree in Science (M.Sc. or Diploma) in computer science or a related field
  • Practical experience and solid knowledge in cybersecurity
  • High selfmotivation, dedication, and independent work
  • Willingness to work in an international and excellenceoriented work environment
  • Fluent German and English skills desirable. But we also offer our support in acquiring the respective language skills, if necessary, e. g. through intensive language classes.

The research group works closely with other ATHENE contributors. For the specific project, close cooperation is expected in particular with the research groups of Prof. Haya Schulmann, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Prof. Reiner Hähnle, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and Fraunhofer SIT.

The work in ATHENE and the cooperation with Fraunhofer enable unique, direct access to the requirements and problems of industry and society.
