The role is responsible for the project and resource management. This position must lead technical staff and resources through the entire software development life cycle.


Responsibilities:


  • Execute and successfully deliver on multiple, concurrent mid to large scale projects, typically across multiple product lines.
  • Provide mentoring and direction to team members. Multiple teams are involved, typically in multiple locations.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and thirdparty software that may benefit Tungsten Automation Corporation's products.
  • Participate in the planning, acquisition, allocation and management of Development's hardware and software resources.
  • Respond to requests for technical and product assistance from Technical Support and Sales.
  • Provide input to, follow, and be supportive of the Tungsten Automation Corporation Product Development Process
  • Work with Product Management to understand the longterm vision for Tungsten Automation Corporation's products in order that short term decisions and tradeoffs can be made with the long term in mind.
Required Experience

  • 57 years of software development management experience
  • Experience building and maintaining productive and performing engineering teams.
  • Experience interfacing with product delivery/service teams such as Technical Support and Consulting Services.
  • Experience defining and enforcing development processes.
  • Ability to define infrastructure needs and work with IT group to acquire needed assets.
  • Ability to participate in architectural and technical design discussions.
  • Experience working directly with customers to resolve product issues.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Product Management, Technical Publications, and QA teams.
  • Experience developing and supporting commercial software products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
