For our Industrial Project Manager Team within the Business Line Radio Frequency Processing (RFP) in Hamburg, we have an opening for a
Scrum Master , **in which you will support and guide "agile" teams creating new RF ICs, especially Radars, but also Radio for Car systems and Health solutions.

The Radar business is rapidly growing and NXP built up a leader position in this segment; the job opening aims at extending and further maturing the team facing multiple products integration and increasing complexity.

Your Team:

You are part of an experienced team of industrial project managers, with broad background in project management, product and test engineering.

Your own project/scrum teams will be composed by test and product engineers mainly and you will have close interactions with DfT & design engineers, project, management and R&D teams.

Agile Objectives RFP:

RFP requires focused, stable competence teams to address its strong growing, dynamic businesses. The Scrum competency teams shall serve multiple projects within a specific market segment.

The Scrum methodology provides the needed focus, autonomy, transparency and engagement, as has been successfully pioneered by other product lines within NXP.

Acknowledging that Scrum has been primarily developed for software development several adaptations are needed to secure Agile principles in an IC development environment.

The Scrum Master role is essential for achieving these objectives.

Responsibilities:

Scrum Master for IC New Product Introduction. We are currently looking for a Scrum master to support our IC design and industrialization R&D teams.

Responsibilities in this role include:

Facilitating Scrum events and rituals (e.g. daily meetings, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospectives)
Encouragement and protection of team selforganization
Collect and report metrics on team performance (e.g. velocity, engagement, workload)
Improving team effectiveness by removal of team distractions, interruptions, and impediments
Coaching and training of team members and external stakeholders on Scrum fundamentals
Contribute to continuous improvement of way of working
Participate in an Agile wayofworking team

Your Profile:

Technical Skills:

Minimum 2 years working experience in SCRUM as a SCRUM Master, with preference 5 years or above working in SCRUM (or similar framework like SaFe, Less etc)
Understanding and practicing agility in SCRUM
Preferred PSM I level certified or above
Basic knowledge in Semiconductor industry or related jobs is preferred

Good communication skills with fluency in English; Dutch and/or German optional
Strong interpersonal skills with team orientation to drive team effectiveness
Process oriented, high personal discipline
Servant Leader: comfortable surrendering control, feel satisfaction from facilitating other's success
