Your Role:


As the Site Quality Head, you will be part of the site management team, leading the quality unit for the organic manufacturing in Darmstadt which consists of quality assurance, quality control and quality management.

With the product portfolio, the organic manufacturing Darmstadt site covers a wide range of quality requirements, from technical chemicals, food, active ingredients and excipients for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to polymers for the semi-conductor industry.


As Head of the Quality unit, you will:

  • Ensure that all products and processes are suitable for their intended use.
  • Ensure that the necessary resources are available for the effective realization of the integrated management system and the business processes.
  • Guide and lead the organization in all quality aspects with focus on sustainable optimization of quality performance and achieving high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and optimize site Quality performance to initiate and coordinate quality projects to improve quality performance.
  • Ensure and promote the processoriented approach and riskbased thinking in the organization.
  • In line with the business strategy, you will execute the transformation to support our internal and external CDMO business.
  • Moreover, you enhance the of quality culture in the organic manufacturing Darmstadt by pushing best practices sharing and lessons learned, establishing a Quality network to empower, and exchanging quality experience within organization.
  • Drive and support digitalization in product quality and processes by automation as well as implementation of data analytics.

Who you are:


  • Graduate degree in science/ chemistry or equivalent. Master's level preferred.
  • 10+ years' work experience in different management roles in the quality environment.
  • Longterm experience in a GMP environment, ideally dealing with CDMO business, is a prerequisite, additional knowledge in the semiconductor quality area is desirable.
  • You come with an agile mindset, agile leadership practices and roles that we need for team buildup and for leading a highperformance team.
  • Your role as a leader you lead by example, empower the team to pave the way for a constant improvement with passion and are eager to learn.
  • You are a true believer of open communications, feedback and learning culture and drive topics proactively to success.
  • Furthermore, you show high responsibility for Environment, Health, and Safety.
  • Highly customeroriented thinking: you always seek for optimal solutions and want to optimize the outcome in terms of quality, cost, and time with the customer in mind.
  • Must be able to interact with management at all levels.
  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and professional networking.
  • Fluent in English and German (required).
