Job Description:

Position Purpose

This position ensure the correct calculation of annual asset audits across Europe for CHEP owned/ customer owned equipment.

The position holder will monitor customer audits, ensure analysis of results and monitor follow-ups on discrepancies in liaison with Key Account Manager, Account Monitoring Teams & Customer Representatives.

The person will also be responsible for consistency of physical and CHEP book stock for individual customers and summarize discrepancies for the upper CHEP management.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and monitor customer audit data in multiple languages
  • Produce timely and accurate reconciliations on a daily basis
  • Provide close support to customer to identify discrepancies (supply reports/ information from ERP / CRM systems or other databases)
  • Ensure work with Key Account Managers in terms of audit planning
  • Support negotiation of losses with customers and support Key Account Manager negotiations
  • Define ERP reports and summarize analysis results and present rationale for under and over performance, trends and discrepancies
  • Monitor audit relevant data in CRM system (or other) and monitor own completion of workload to meet objectives

Qualifications:


  • Accounting related apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years working experience in a numerical and customer environment
Experience

  • Previous Customer Care experience or Accounting expertise
  • Worked in process driven situation where success is dependent on consistent adherence to procedures/deadlines
  • Leadership Skills
Skills and Knowledge

  • Good Numeric skills
  • Very good customer orientated communication skills
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Diplomatic and sensitive when serving customers of a different mentality and culture
  • Fluency in German and English are mandatory, additional European languages are a big plus
Preferred Education

Degree and equivalent - Accounting

Preferred Level of Work Experience

  • 5 yearsHybrid Remote
