The newly established function, Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offering and the way we work.


The software engineering department is responsible for developing and scaling new "on-farm" digital and integrated tools and solutions, which will work toward driving a more efficient and transparent food system and better live environment.

Reporting to the Delivery Lead, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Scrum Master. This position can be based in
Germany or Bulgaria.

Responsibilities:


  • Work as an equal partner with product, engineering, design, marketing, agronomic managers/leaders and with crossfunctioning delivery teams to create engaging, usercentric solutions and/or services that solve the needs of Yara and its clients.
  • Lead adoption and be the embodiment of the Agile values and principles, identify & implement appropriate Agile frameworks/practices which may include Scrum ceremonies (e.g. standups, demos, retrospectives), support in roadmapping and release planning, backlog management (refinement & estimation).
  • Ensure harmony, increase collaboration & transparency between multiple stakeholder groups and other crossfunctional delivery teams and help remove impediments between these teams.
  • Assess the agile maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, in a conscientious, practical and sustainable manner.
  • Provide support to the team with the servantleadership approach and lead by example.

Profile:


  • Significant & proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar, working on multiple & diverse teams.
  • Experience in a scaled and complex software development environment.
  • Excellent understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement & empowerment.
  • Comfortable in running & organising large workshops, training sessions, or similar.
  • Advanced Agile certifications e.g. A-CSM, PSM II or similar, if significant work experience cannot be proven.
  • Excellent communication skills & cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong negotiator & collaborative character.
  • Drive for selfimprovement, selflearning & selfreflection.
  • Empathetic and demonstrates a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Open to constructive feedback, both giving and receiving, according to Yara's values.
  • Ready to make an immediate impact, be a key player on the team, take ownership and execute with conviction.
  • Proactive and constructive even if things get ambiguous and willing to ask for clarification
  • Fluent in English
