The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society.

The school offers master's programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research.

Its extensive international network positions it as an ambassador of good governance, characterised by public debate and engagement. The school was founded in 2003 by the Hertie Foundation, which remains its major funder. The Hertie School is accredited by the state and the German Science Council.

Two Student Assistants (gn) at the Jacques Delors Centre
in part-time (15-20hrs/week)

Start:
from March 2024

Your tasks:

Assistance in the organisation and supervision of events related to the Pariser Platz Dialogue series;
Assistance in administrative tasks for the Pariser Platz Dialogue series;
Support the Centre's think tank work on EU policies;
Support in conducting qualitative/quantitative research;
Bring in your ideas on Social Media postings.

Your profile:

Currently enrolled at a German university and studying a relevant field such as political science, international relations or public policy;
A completed Bachelor's degree is an asset;
Very good knowledge of English written and spoken; as well as either French or German or both;
Structured working style and good communication skills;
Creative, proactive and handson attitude;
Experience in event organizing desirable;
Interest in European policy issues and Franco-German relations.
