A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Sales Applications Professional (f/m/d) you will serve as a key contact for Siemens Energy execution units and Grid Consulting (GC) external partners.

You will work closely with GC Experts, Grid Technologies Sales (GT S) teams and other internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities on internal and external customer projects.

This role will require that you contribute to creating market transparency for the global Grid Consulting business in terms of sales pipeline, business development, market trends, etc.

Responsibilities also include but are not limited to assessment and reporting of energy transition & power grid market trends, identification of future business opportunities, marketing activities and business development to ensure acquisition of targeted projects.

How You'll Make an Impact

Actively identify new business opportunities in cooperation with GT S, Hub and other Business Area Sales teams
Engagement with Hub Sales and Regional GC teams to secure strategic and must win projects
Coordination and quality assurance of GC offers and tendering process using Sales Force, Tableau and other tools
Develop market transparency and support Market Intelligence process for Grid Consulting
Overall strategic identification and development of partners, strategic suppliers and business models to enhance GC competitiveness in the market
Execution of the GC marketing concept and overall coordination for participation in standardization committees, working groups, workshops, and conferences
Tracking of relevant KPIs to ensure timely achievement of business targets (Order intake, Revenue, etc.)
Proactively identify opportunities for portfolio enhancement and communicate customer technology/ R&D requirements to GC teams and SE execution units

What You Bring

Completed universal degree in electrical engineering or similar and an MBA
Several years of experience in business development. Applications with first experience are also welcome
Experience within energy sector or consulting is a plus
Good communication skills in businessfluent in English. German is a plus
Good presentation skills to represent Siemens Energy to our customers and other stakeholders
Open mindset to work in a multicultural environment as well as passion for energy transition
