Position Overview

Harris Williams is an investment bank specializing in M&A advisory services, representing sellers and buyers of companies worldwide.

The firm is focused on providing sell-side and acquisition advisory services to leading private equity groups, as well as many Fortune 500 and privately held companies.


Job Description:


Vice Presidents at HW play an integral role in all of the firm's merger and acquisition advisory activities and each Vice President is expected to experience rapid professional growth to the Director and Managing Director levels.

Vice Presidents are expected to play an active leadership role during every phase of the deal execution process, and are encouraged to handle a high level of responsibility on transaction teams.

Vice Presidents oversee the development of both initial pitch material and descriptive memoranda and are expected to actively lead drafting sessions and due diligence meetings, as well as conversations with clients and counter parties.

Vice Presidents are also responsible for the integrity of the valuation analyses and merger and acquisition models developed in concert with Financial Analysts and Associates.

In addition, Vice Presidents are encouraged to participate actively in new business development.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
