Your role


This function offers you the chance to work on FIT4, one of ZEISS' Key Group Programs (KGP) that aims to drive harmonization and standardization of processes and structures that define the way how ZEISS will work for years to come.


Reporting to the Head of Business Process Excellence, you will step up as an advisor and deputy in the role of Business Process Integration and together decide and prepare comprehensive design decisions.

You also act as a sparring partner in terms of team development and recruiting. Furthermore the Head of Business Process Excellence - Finance/Controlling & Procurement (M/F/x) will- oversee the workstreams Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, incl. the cross-stream Business Intelligence and Analytics, and, at the same time, act as main responsible stream lead for one of the associated end-to-end processes- take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS, balancing individual functional and segment needs- take on a moderating and leadership role, understanding and mastering the individual processes, in order to moderate between the ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner- steer and orchestrate necessary external consulting support within your area- beyond ownership for an individual end-to-end stream - you act as a role model for your team and guide / motivate them in their work- coordinate and drive overarching cross-topics, especially with impact on business processes in all your associated workstreams and you will closely exchange together with your fellow Heads of BPE in Operations and in Sales & Service to drive integrative process design and best practice sharing- own the alignment of your workstreams' progress with the overall program plan, ensure planning, implementation and improvement measures of your workstreams and thus make a decisive contribution to the overall program success


Profile:

- at least a Masters degree (MBA and/or PhD is a plus) in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study- 6-8+ years of previous experience, with a focus in the area of process excellence, or in a similar performance improvement related environment, and relevant experience with SAP ERP transformations and/or one of the associated end-to-end streams- excellent conceptual and analytical skills that allow you to see the 'bigger picture' and drive progress in complex multi-stakeholder settings- results-oriented and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and motivate your team- a strong change management perspective and seasoned personality
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
