Your main responsibilities:

Collection, aggregation, and analysis of knowledge regarding feedstock and raw materials
Initiation and accompaniment of technological landscaping and mapping
Following scientific literature, conferences, patents, and global political framework documents
Discussion with internal and external Experts
Together with your linemanager you will conceive proposals, approaches, roadmaps how to implement the ongoing transformation of the chemical industry in the Beiersdorf raw material portfolio.
You will build and foster successful cooperation's with external partners such as institutes, universities, knowledge provider, consultants, as well as external bodies and represent Beiersdorf.
With your professional expertise you will be the contact person for our internal and external interfaces regarding feedstocks and formula science by generation and dissemination of knowhow.

Your Profile:

Excellent ideally postgraduate (or PhD) degree in chemistry, biotechnology, disciplines related to sustainability and environmental science with a focus on feedstocks. Experience with cosmetic formulation and their raw materials is very welcome.
Very good knowledge in chemistry or biotechnology combined with a strong interest in sustainability and feedstock topics
Able to peruse all kinds of publications (scientific papers, roadmaps, policies etc.) and to translate the for a diverse set of internal stakeholders
First international experience from internships, studies or research stays abroad
Scientific creativity and enthusiasm
Excellent English and good German or the willingness to learn German fast
