Position overview:


Head of Planning in allnex provides leadership and accountability for overall strategic and tactical activities of global Planning function : planning, executing and delivery of Global Supply Chain Planning Roadmap, focusing on inventory optimization, digital planning and scheduling at the sites, touchless processing of material replenishments and monitoring variances.

You will lead the development of planning strategies and implement appropriate processes to manage supply plans, raw material availability and inventory levels to fulfill demand, customer service objectives while optimizing costs.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop a vision and a mission for the global planning function in order to support allnex's business strategy.
  • Analyze Supply Chain planning tool portfolio across the globe (including SAP MRP and ATP); implement missing elements, upgrade existing ones, automate/digitize manual steps, harmonize and streamline.
  • Implement global S&OP, tactical (1+ months out for asset/sales allocation decisions), management (3+ months out for inventory / product transfer decisions), strategic (18+ months out for capacity decisions).
  • Serve as a trusted advisor while building and maintaining relationships with Supply Chain leadership, operations leadership, and commercial leadership teams, to develop a clear understanding of business needs; identify opportunities and educate the business where this can add value.
  • Manage Supply Chain planning KPIs and communicate effectively across organization levels; present succinctly to executive leadership teams and board members on planning issues and business impacts.
  • Build, manage, develop, mentor, and inspire team managing performance, goals and development potential as well as cultivate positive and collaborative culture among the team, that can instill respect, trust, and high saydo ratio.

Required skills and experience:


  • 10 years of working experience in planning or supply chain function in an industrial & international environment, with a minimum of 5 years in managerial position.
  • Experienced in areas of strategic development and deployment in a changing business environment. Have excellent domain experience in planning area as well as a proven success record of delivering business value and organizational transformation.
  • A strong sense of ownership, and a passion for defining and driving large crossfunctional programs.
  • Harmonized process driver and leader, cultivates a proactive mindset, helps the team navigate through changes and transitions.
  • Ability to measure workload, performances vs targets, actual costs vs budget, and make adjustments when needed.
  • Problemsolving attitude and ability to manage conflict in a fair and efficient manner.
