Your Role

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Data, Analytics and AI and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS.

In this challenging function, you will enable the success of the Head of Data and leadership team, Data & Analytics organization and its key business stakeholders.

You will serve as a strategic advisor and counsel to leadership, assume daily responsibility to highly visible projects and tasks, and manage cross-functional business relationships enabling leadership success.

You will have the opportunity to impact and influence as the strategic partner, operational support, interacting with leaders and teams, expand and hire key personnel, manage projects, issues and operational metrics, and overall be a visible relationship builder fostering long term organizational success.

With your fellow colleagues, you will build our capability to stay on top of digital innovation and make sure that decisions regarding the use of data are made in the interest of ZEISS as well as our customers.

Your Profile- An excellent university degree, preferably in business, natural sciences, or engineering, paired with a passion for both digital and technologies including ZEISS' products and markets- Program or Team management experience and the ability to drive topics- Ability to develop concepts, structure them and document them in an easy to understand format- Rather outgoing personality that collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally to manage deliverables and deadlines- Strong communication skills paired with empathy to easily navigate corporate as well as navigate managerial / business as well as tech environments- Excellent interpersonal skills, work ethics, problem solving skills and adaptability to new situations is required- Fluent English and advanced German language skills- Data, analytics, engineering, and technical skills a plus but not a requirement
