Your duties:

You develop ecommerce design concepts for a whitelabel shop system and represent the interests of shop owners and end customers in the crossfunctional development team.
You are responsible for defining and documenting the user experience of a part of the user journey and support UI designers and developers in the implementation of your concepts.
You ensure that your design solutions comply with platform standards (whitelabel design system) and coordinate closely with software architects to optimize technical integration.
You support product managers in specifying business requirements to promote the optimal balance between business goals and user needs.
You are an integral part of Agile routines (SAFe framework) and support developers during the refinement, implementation and release phases to ensure high design quality of the final product.
You advise design team members, clients and external stakeholders on UX methodologies and best practices for digital ecommerce projects.

Your profile:

You have a degree with a focus on UX design, interaction design or comparable certifications or work experience.
You have five years of experience as an UX designer in complex digital projects with a focus on ecommerce or comparable transactional processes.
You are familiar with a variety of UX methodologies and interaction design patterns that enable you to design modern webshops across devices (desktop/mobile).
You know your way around design systems for digital products and appreciate working with component and pattern libraries.
You have experience collaborating in an agile development environment and are willing to promote usercentered design processes in your team, bringing the other disciplines (product managers, developers, etc.) along for the ride.
You have strong stakeholder management skills and deliver clearly understandable and valid design arguments.
You have strong mentorship skills and a passion for developing younger colleagues and sharing knowledge.
You have a lot of experience with common tools used in design for digital products such as Sketch, Figma, Axure, Miro, Invision, Abstract.
You are a team player and have strong oral and written communication skills in English (German is an advantage).
You ideally have project experience in the automotive or finance industry, know business models (B2B, B2C etc.) and have already gained experience with the internationalization of digital products.
