You have finished your studies or are about to do so and would like to contribute your acquired knowledge and creative ideas to us without committing yourself to a specific job?


Over a period of 18 months, you will gain insights into the global finance, controlling, accounting and tax functions of Evonik Industries AG and get to know the work processes in an international group by working at different locations.

You will be mentored by experienced colleagues in your area of responsibility.

You will also develop your technical and methodological skills on the job and off the job in workshops, seminars and your own projects.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in a project on social and/or sustainable topics. These activities will take place together with other Evonik trainees.

You will have the opportunity to expand your network from day one and lay the foundation for your career start in Controlling, Finance, Accounting or Taxes A stay abroad is an integral part of the program.

The final selection of applicants will take place on May 6, 2024 as part of a digital assessment center. You can start our trainee program in November 2024.

Responsibilities:


  • Get to know both the operational and strategic side of our finance department
  • Support management in planning, controlling and analyzing the business and contribute to the definition of strategic goals
  • Work on strategic projects within Finance and take early responsibility for projects
  • Contribute to the preparation of management reports and decision papers
  • Expand your technical and methodological expertise together with trainees from other functions and build up a network within and outside the finance department

Requirements:


  • You have completed your Master's degree in business administration or industrial engineering with an aboveaverage focus on financial management, controlling and/or accounting
  • You have initial practical experience (e.g. through internships), knowledge of digitalization / predictive forecasting / big data analytics
  • You can already demonstrate your mobility through initial experience abroad
  • You are business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • You have a strong operational and procedural understanding of endtoend responsibility
  • You look at issues holistically and from different perspectives and develop creative solutions independently
  • Your strengths include a high level of interpersonal skills and empathy, as well as a strong sense of responsibility
  • You have very good communication skills and are a team player
